hm....... now, letzts try to do it together...
I start CorrelDraw X4 (not Photo Paint!!! Photopaint is for Bitmap Grafic, CorrelDwar for Vector Grafic)
i create new empty Document
i draw a circle and a Text
i click Menue ==> "Datei" (engl. file)
i select "Exportieren" (engl. export)
in DropDown Box "Dateityp" (filetype) i select "AI-Adobe Illustrator"
Then i click "Exportieren" (export)
NOW i have to select the File Format! in the DropDown-box "Kompatibilität" (compatibilty) i select "Adobe Illustrator 5.x"
I selct "PC" (not macintosh)
export Text as curves ..
and klick OK
that`s ist.... the file hase been exportet, and i am able to import it to Showeditor.
hope this will help you
best regards
Erich

Illustrator is a very interesting program because it requires a different mindset than painting on a canvas. Your workflow is often based around layering elements and creating interesting mediums from that layering (Think construction paper layering).
I use my XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro [link removed] drawing tablet with screen for sketching things out in Illustrator with the blob brush. it's good for the odd sketch and doodle.
