Hi As I am very new to what lasers are capable of i would like to know if my laser, a DS3300 would be capable of projecting an image onto a white surface thats 270m away.

Sorry for the delayed reply.
Technically this would be possible, but there are many factors that influence, so it depends on environmental brightness, viewing angle of the spectators, requirements of the accuracy of the beam after that distance, scan angle, points drawn per pattern, and of course the color to be projected with.
This means: give it a try to see if the parameters you have make it work.
