How to set ShowNet - DMX Out was created by Penax
I have LaserWorld DS-1000RGB ShowNet. I can't set the DMX output. I want to control the Penta Par MK II lights. The DMX monitor shows that some ShowEdit data is being output but the reflector does not switch. I don't know if it's the right settings.
The light has a DMX terminator connected to the output.Yes, I read the manual.
Maybe I'm making a mistake in this setup.

I don't want to operate the Laser using DMX input. I just want to send data to the DMX out to control the lights and fog.
I will ask. Internal ShowNet have the same ILDA - DMX connection as this adapter?
After all, when I enter a TimeLine macro with a DMX command, ShowEditor must send that command to the DMX output. However, I do not want to control the Laser with DMX In. DIL switches have all Off (DHCP) set.

Please use the admin tool and switch the left dropdown menu (DMX out) to Host. remeber to save, if you changed that.
If you want to use DMX out with an external ShowNET, you need the DMX adapter to get the DMX out of the ILDA line. If you have an internal DMX, you can use the DMX connectors at your laser. Remember: if you use the DMX at the laser, do not link any other DMX control to this same universe

Thank you for your advice, but still DMX is not going. The DMX OUT menu on the left is set to HOST [LaserShow Software]. The DMX monitor shows changes in output. The .ini file is deleted several times. Program reinstalled many times. DMX cable replaced. All variants tested in MIDI-DMX menu. More addresses tested. Tested another spotlight. DMX Terminator installed in the reflector on the DMX OUT. And still no change. I don't know anymore.

Today I made a simple DMX tester.
There is no data from the DMX output of the Laser. The DMX monitor in ShowEdit shows the green lines that some data is being output.
I don't know where the error is. I'll try to make an output from the Ilda connector.

Did you select your interface as an DMX Output in the Showeditor Software ==> Options ==> DMX / MIDI ?

now i have more Informations.
The DMX Out ist just a DMX Throu port (hard wired) .... it is also used as an output, when the Device is the Master device in a chain of devices, but the DMX Out is not usable to output the DMX values from laser software. Because this, i think you need a external ShowNET With ILDA Cable Whip for DMX Output.
The DMX Input is working.

Thrown away money for integrated ShowNet. Why the manufacturing company does not write in the manual. Programmers don't even know it doesn't work.

I bought more lights and I can't control them together with the laser.

But again I can't connect the laser via DMX In with this program.
I think I'll forget about ShowNet. I wanted to buy QuickShow from Pangolin, but it needs another Entec interface to control DMX. That would be a lot of money for home entertainment.
Is there any software in which I can program laser and DMX lights together?

I installed ShowNET-Admin-Tool-1_38 and Firmware application_shownet_2020022302 from the manufacturer's website. Daslight program already controls DMX In, but the channels from ScanLibrary for Laserworld do not match. I downloaded the fixures from the Laserworld website.
In ShowEdit, no change. I see DMX Out active only in the DMX Monitor, but no change on the physical output.
I will try to create a file in ScanLibrary where the channels will correspond with Integrated ShowNet.

There are basically two different operation modes of teh ShowNET - the DJ Mode and the professional mode. The DJ mode is somewhat restricted and uses basic features, whereas the Professional DMX mode allows for more detailed control, but requires some more knowledge of laser control. The profiles that are provided by Laserworld for the different DMX control hard- and software usually ONLY correspond with the professional DMX mode. So to use these you should switch the ShowNET mainboard to Professional DMX with teh Admin tool.
