Laser Shows Output - Can you help?

Dear Guys

I own a Laserworld Pro-800RGB laser along with the Showeditor.net interface. I have recently decided to go ahead and purchase a laptop so i could project some live shows. Last night at a dj gig, i was projecting some scrolling text onto the wall. After i had done this, i wanted to change it up abit, and do the auto laser beams using the shownet interface.

I disconnected the laptop, turned off the laser, and changed the dip switches to the correct settings and turned the laser back on,

Very strange, i discovered part of the scrolling text from the laptop was displaying as part of the output from my laser. Does anyone know whey this could have happened - as i tried everything to remove this but couldn't figure this out?
