hm.... i have some question... may be to find the problem.
Was the programm (may be early version of it) already running on this computer?
Generally i recommend to delete the "LaserworldShowditorV6.ini" file.... may be it is causing the crash at programmstart.
Usually you will find it in this Folder:
C:\ProgramData\Laserworld_Showeditor\
this is the only file, saving settings of the progam.
The Message you attached, is not really a errormessage, this message is telling, you are able to save your undo files after a software crash, in case you did already much work in an new figure or show.
So this message is telling nothing abought the reason of Crash
please tell me, if the delete of the ini file is not helping....

may be, it will be a good idea, to Rename the ini file!
if this works.... i will be happy if you send the damaged (renamed) ini file to me

I have the same problem (also running Win 10).
Program shuts down after a few seconds, I tried deleting the ini file but it didn't help (also tried a clean install and turned off all antivirus and firewall software just to make sure).
Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks

a user told me, may be there is a Bug in "update Check" ....
he swiched of the Option "info : new Version, Check Online" in the Others 1 folder of the options....
I changed something in the update Check programming, may be this is buggy, i will check it soon.
Is the computer connectet to internet? may be, you should also try to change its online Status (disconnet if it is connectet... or connect it if it is disconnected)
best regards
Erich

I'm on a HP Spectre 360 laptop. Windows 10 64bit, Intel i7 processor ,16GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce940MX graphic card and on board Intel HD graphics 620.
Account has administrator rights.
Started from a fully clean installation.
Running program as user or as administrator doesn't change the problem.
Reinstalling as administrator doesn't change the crash problem.
Clearing all the laserworld files in the user/documents folder and reinstalling doesn't help.
I renamed the .ini file, doesn't help.
Running in compatibiliteit mode (tried W8 and W7 compatibiliteit mode) doesn't help...
Program open, crashes and the message box about the undo files deyected after program crash appears.
On the right side from this message box the 'figure box' named F-0| ***Figur 0*** is openend but without any figure in it. Only one small red square with a blue cross in it is visible.
It seems as if it crashes loading figures on startup?
Very strange.
I just bought this 2nd hand and it has been working at the previous owner.
Doesn't give me much confidence in the showeditor software to be honest...
Can this asap be looked at? If any files or screenshots needed just ask me, I work in ICT so delivering files should't be a problem.
Hope this is quickly fixed.
Sven

actually i know 2 Reasons for this Problem...
a) a damaged ini file... this will be fixed by deleting it
b) seems, there is a problem with update Check... one user told me, he had no more problems, after changing the "check for Update" option....
are you shure, you deleted the correct ini file? sometimes, user have different installations (example demo and full version, or 2015 and V6 version) and therefore the wrong ini file hase been deleted/renamed.
some questions:
is your computer connected to internet?
are you able to check a other computer?
a "update" of showeditor will be distributet soon... (shure this year.... i think in November)
best regards

Thx for the fast reply.
I 100% renamed the correct .ini file,i checken if a new one was automatically made and it is.
My laptop is connected to the internet.
I did delta all laserworld software with the windows 'uninstall software' tool and the laserworld files in the 'my documents' folder. Reinstalled but still crashes.
I remove v6 and installed the 2015 software version, and... This version does work and I can perfectly control my ilda laser!
Soooo I'm actually absolute sure it has something to do with that specific version.
If you need error logs just ask, I'm into IT as a sysadmin.

now... if you want to, i could send you a "Beta Version" with some more debuging Infos, may be, it is also working.
if you want to, simply send me a Mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and i will send you the zipped Programmfile (not the whole installer)....
The other user, who found, that he have trouble with the automatic update Information wrote:
''''*****************************************
Hello erich, Ive discovered that if I turn off "automatically checkfor update" during install process, the error does not occur.
''''*****************************************
so, he did not remove the Option... but he swiched of the Search for Update Option after the first start (without ini file... this question will be asked)
best regards
