Installer "file does not exist" was created by halfblue3
I tried installing v6 and v7 but both of them shows this error.

I am Erich, i will try to help.
Question: do you talk about a Software Disk installation? or are you using the Installerdownload from this webpage?
I ask this question, because i wonder abought the "path" witch is shown in your Errormessage...
If i download the installer from this webpage into the Download Folder (see download link: www.showeditor.com/en/downloads/showedit...ftware-download.html)
then i am directly able to start the file "Laserworld_Showeditor_V7_Installer.exe" from the download folder... then it works normaly.
Do you have a idea, where the Path "AutoPlay\\Docs\\" is comming from?

Hi,
I downloaded the installer from this webpage.
I have no idea where it is. I just straight up tried to install the application inside Downloads. Now, when I try to install the application again, it doesn't do anything. Maybe the application's programmers know where to find it because I'm just a user.
(And can someone change the css of this site. Who in their right minds think that making the positive button like the Submit below look more appealing than the negative Cancel button? That's like simple UX/UI. What's worst is that hovering the Submit button makes the text almost unreadable.)

now, please tell me something abought your system (Windows Version?) ....
Usualy (default setting, if you do not change the settings of your browser) the software installation file should be found in your download folder.....
may be, you should delete this downloaded file, and retry the download. May be, ther happens a error during download?

Hi,
I'm using a Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS. Well, I've already redownloaded the application multiple times and all of them got the same error. Even the free one got the same problem. There was a single time that I was able to see a bit of the part after the initialization then it close on it's own or crashed I think.

It looks like the installer tries to find files within the installation archive, but cannot find them. we cannot recreate this error on any system here, so it seems it is a system immanent issue on your computer. However, this is the way around:
Please download the Showeditor raw download file here
www.showeditor.com/down/Laserworld_Showeditor_Installer.exe
and use that one instead. This bypasses the file structure that seems to give you errors.

After downloading the installer above, I clicked on it on the downloads strip below chrome. It didn't install. Then I tried to reinstall it by clicking on it again. Chrome said it was removed but the actual file is still on my Downloads folder.

Hi,
What do you mean by testing it with other browser? I highly doubt that would cause an issue on the installer because the only thing the browser would download is what it found on the link.
The one you gave me is 95.3mb.

the Download from the second post contains the Showeditor installer, free lasershows, english manual, german manual and a link to this forum

Umm, how exactly would those info help me? Well, I do know each installers file sizes and both of them have the error. I tried to download the installer from firefox and it still have the same issue with the ones I downloaded using chrome. I'm using chrome version 78.0.3904.97 and firefox version 70.0.1.

We tried different setups, but cannot recreate the problem. Also nobody else has reported this ever, so the problem seems to not be with the Showeditor software.
There can be multiple reasons why things can go wrong (Framework problems, etc.), but this is something that needs to be resolved in your computer (maybe ask a computer expert to get the computer fixed / re-setup).
It obviously is not specifically related to the Showeditor software.

It is more likely that there are some conflicts in your system between different frameworks. If you are a software developer, you may have also done some special settings or custom configurations to your computer that may impact on this, so it is not possible to determine that from the distance. Usually all required components are installed on setup, but if there are any conflicts inside the OS, we cannot handle this with the installer.

Is that the one in Region and Language? This pc is using English(United States) and my home pc is probably using the same thing. I'm from the Philippines. Btw, I remember that my home pc's Avast flagged your installed as a generic virus, something like that.
