hello,
sorry, but i am not able to read the file names of "infected" files...
May be, avast antivirus move the files in a quarantäne folder? and may be, this is the problem for the installer? (the files could not be fond) ??
may be, this is a mistake from avast antivirus free software???
at least, i have a question: see this link....
antivirus.comodo.com/blog/comodo-news/do...s-10-need-antivirus/
since manny years i am just using windows defender, and until now, this is okay for me
i also uploadet the Showeditor_V7_Installer.exe to
www.virustotal.com
this is a online virus scan tool, using several virusscanner....
Result: no virus detected . . . .
best regards
Erich

We don't have any reports of other people facing this issue, so it seems to be a specific one. Make sure that you do not have further issues on your PC that cause the AV to flip.
Anyway, the reason why you have issues is that your AV somehow blocked parts of the installer and thus corrupted it.
Iclose this thread now, as it is a unique individual issue not related to the Showeditor software.
