I just installed the last version and have connected the Laserworld interface with grey Ethernet cable. For the moment thisinterface is not connected to the Laser .
I didn't change anything on DIP swutch (everything is set to 0)
I have the following message, starting the product:
"Please connect your interface and dongle key code..."
I there anything to do on DIP switch, Where is the dongle ? I didn't see anything in the quick installation guide?
Best regards
Philippe

Hi Phillippe,

did you restart thze interface after setting switch 6 to "on"? You also have to restart the software afterwards. In some rare occasions it may be that the firewall blocks connections to the network interface.
Also make sure that you use a straight network cable and not a crossed one. If the computer has WIFI activated as well, try to switch that one off when connecting the interface via cable. Usually it should work well with activated WIFI, but in some rare occasions this can cause issues.

Please let me know if one of above hints helped you solve things. Please also share which way helped you sorting.

Thanks,

Norbert

Hello,
It now works well.
I spoke with one of our network administrator and he was able to make it running in 1 minute. Subnetwork mask, active Wifi, and software firewall was the problem
We have used a fix IP address: 192.168.0.60 mask 255.255.255.0 default gateway 192.168.0.61
We have switched on 1, 2,4,7 the LW Box.
We have switched off PC WIFI (very important!)
Stop/start Laserworld box, remove cable and set it up again…
Then User interface was starting well and laser was well showing up!

Great!
We also prepared a detailed tutorial to show the steps required for estrablishing a network connection even if the computer configuration is more complex.

Please find it here - including screenshots and step-by-step instructions:
