FAQ

I get a quartz.dll registration error. What's wrong?

In some very rare occations it can happen that the registration of the quartz.dll failed during install. This depends on the operating system, the user configuration and on serveral other factors that influence. However, it is easy to solve this issue - the *.dll can be manually installed. We prepared a small batch file that registers the quartz.dll and the error disappears.

This is how it goes:
- download the DLL-Patcher.bat from the download area
- execute the DLL-Patcher.bat by double-clicking on it. If you do not have administrator privileges on your computer, it is required to right-click on the file and select "execute as administrator" from the dialog.
- a black command screen shows up and the patching happens. When having finished, the window automatically closes after a short delay or it prompts you to press any key to close the dialog.
- restart your computer to finish the installation and thus make sure the quartz.dll is properly registered.
