Rotating fading circular tunnel was created by sdutson91
Hi all, I'm trying to replicate one of the live effects, where a circular tunnel starts to build up, but the tail fades out. Much like a Stretch Line effect, but where the starting point fades out as the line progresses round. Sorry, this is really badly explained, but I've been trying to figure it out all day, and just can't seem to get a fade/colour gradient to work. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
may be, you can tell me the filename of the live effect figure?
Load the live show (default live show?)
Find the figure in the figure list ( i know, there are many)
Click on the figure in the figure list, and in the headline of the figure list will the filename be shown.
if i know the name of the figure i think i will be able to answer your question...
A other way is a Screenshoot of the Livewindow with the selecteed figure

Hi, thanks for helping.
It’s actually in the HE_s_TestBilder figures and is called Farbverlauf_Pfadfigur
I’m new to laser designing, and I’m getting the hang of simple lines, but I’ve been struggling with this one.

Hello.....
okay.... for a second, i have to think abought it to remember but i think, i know how it is made.
1) Klick "New Figure"
2) Right on "Polygon Tool"
3) enter Number of polygon corners ==> for example 100
4) if not selected, select Polygon Tool
5) Click in the center of Drawing area, and drag a circle....
6) enter "Number of overlapping Edges" = 1000 ==> this will result in 10 Turns of circle with each 100 corners
7) klick OK
Save the figure (name Test1 oder Temp.. or something like this
9) select the saved figure
10 ) click Menue ==> Edit ==> Path Tool
11) klick Button "Path from Frame" and "next"
12) click "Weiter" (bug in Software.. missing translation of this button)
13) select options: "Snake/linee" .... and choose Color form.... ... select "FadeOut" YES ... Set "Picture Distance" to 1 .... set Count of Pictures to 40 (higher Value means longer snake line) ... ... and select "Stard/End hidden = Yes" ....
14) Click "Apply" ..
15) a new figure wil be calculated as Figure0 ....
16) set Frame per Socond
17) safe this Figure now.
That's it ...
You should be also able to recolor some parts of the first figure before you save it... this should result in a colored new path too figure
Best regards
Erich

PS.... if you create a colored polygon circle (may be with Colorfade) and use the "Rotation" Effektwindow of the resulting Path-Figure... this will make cracy effects

Thank you so much Erich for your help, that's got it. Sorry for the slow response, I've been away from my laptop for the weekend, so have only just had a chance to try it.
I wouldn't have been able to figure that out without your help.
